HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- A Rockingham County grand jury indicted a Harrisonburg man who operates a Facebook group aimed at notifying Shenandoah Valley residents on police checkpoints and locations.

Jason Kubin, 41, was indicted Monday on two felony counts of drug distribution.

Police say Kubin sold synthetic marijuana during two controlled buys in February and March with informants with the RUSH Drug Task Force.

He was arrested in May.

Kubin operates Spot-a-Cop, a Facebook Group with more than 7,000 members.

On the page, group members post items ranging from police checkpoints and hiding locations to traffic delays.
