Broadway man accused of shooting acquaintance in the shoulder

UPDATE (Dec. 21):
A Broadway man is charged with malicious wounding after a shooting Thursday night that led to a man being taken by ambulance from a Burger King parking lot with a gunshot wound.
According to Rockingham County Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson, 29-year-old Elmer Mundo, of Harrisonburg, went to the home of 24-year-old Jason Tyler Lohr on Hupp Rd. around 7:30 p.m. Thursday night.
Hutcheson says there appears to have been some sort of domestic dispute that led to Mundo's arrival at the home, and Lohr met him outside. There, deputies say Lohr drew a handgun and shot Mundo in the shoulder.
Mundo reportedly contacted a friend and had the friend take him to the Burger King on North Valley Pike, where he was taken by ambulance to Sentara RMH and then transported to UVA Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Mundo is said to be in stable condition.
According to the sheriff, the victim was uncooperative with law enforcement to start with because of past gang relations, but this incident was not gang-related.
Lohr, who is charged with one count of malicious wounding, will appear before a court Friday afternoon.
