Bridgewater man dead after motorcycle crash on Thursday

A 60-year-old Bridgewater man is dead following a motorcycle crash south of Bridgewater on Thursday morning.
According to Virginia State Police, Trooper S.J. Nicely Jr. responded to a fatal motorcycle crash in the 200 block of Wise Hollow Road, south of Bridgewater and west of Route 11, at about 8:10 a.m. Thursday morning.
Harry S. Judy, 60, of Bridgewater, had been, according to investigators, riding his motorcycle south, just north of Summit Church Road, when he lost control of the vehicle, slid off the right side of the road, and struck an embankment and street sign.
Judy was wearing a helmete at the time of the crash, but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
