Staunton City School Board is changing the location for their meeting planned for this coming Monday.

They're planning to discuss the

, and they're expecting many people in the community will want to attend.

Normally, meetings are held in city hall, but on Monday, the meeting will be at the gym in Gypsy Hill Park. The school board decided to move the meeting because of the number of people that have attended meetings over the last few months.

"To accommodate the large crowds of people we've had at our last meetings, particularly the last one, we had to ask people to stand out in the hall here at city hall," Robert Boyle, vice-chair of the school board, said.

The gym at Gypsy Hill Park seats about 250 people. The school board expects that to be plenty of space for anyone interested in attending the meeting.

At the meeting, school board members will be sharing their opinions about the name change, and there will also be a chance for public comment. A decision about whether or not to change the name is also a possibility.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
