State police respond to nearly 800 traffic crashes and disabled vehicles

The winter storm on Wednesday has kept Virginia State Police personnel busy across the Commonwealth.
From midnight to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, VSP responded to 477 traffic crashes and 318 disabled vehicles.
Fortunately, the majority of those crashes have only involved damage to vehicles and few injuries.
Total crashes investigated by VSP from midnight to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday:
Richmond Division - 76 traffic crashes
Culpeper Division - 101 traffic crashes...and 61 disabled/stuck vehicles
Appomattox Division - 79 traffic crashes
Wytheville Division - 26 traffic crashes
Chesapeake Division - 25 traffic crashes
Salem Division - 56 traffic crashes
Fairfax Division - 114 traffic crashes...and 111 disabled/stuck vehicles
