Vehicle crash causes delays on I-81 N near Weyers Cave

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) — UPDATE (2:45 a.m.): Both lanes on I-81 northbound at mile marker 238 are now open, according to VDOT.

The lanes were closed late Thursday night due to a vehicle crash in the area.

All delays caused by the crash are now clear.
UPDATE (12:45 a.m.): One northbound lane of I-81 has reopened at mile marker 238 in Weyers Cave following a vehicle crash.

VDOT is reporting the north right lane and right shoulder remain closed. The agency is currently reporting a three mile back up in the area.
