UPDATE: Traffic moving again on I-81 northbound

Traffic is moving again on I-81 northbound between Weyers Cave and Mount Crawford following a vehicle fire.

A vehicle fire is leading to delays on I-81 northbound near Weyers Cave.

The fire is reported at mile marker 239 on the northbound side. VDOT says motorists can expect potential delays. The north right lane and right shoulder are closed.

Traffic backups are approximately 1.5 miles.
