Waynesboro High School presents 'Avenue Q'

WAYNESBORO, Va. (WHSV) -- Waynesboro High School and the Theater Department will be presenting Avenue Q this weekend, and some of the characters stopped by WHSV News at Noon. If you're planning on going to the show, you can expect laughter, knee slapping and some touchy subjects that might evoke some feelings.

While the original Broadway show is risque, this performance of Avenue Q will be a PG-13, high school version. Heavy topics will be discussed, but the characters in the musical are trying to lighten the mood.

The show starts tonight at 7:30 p.m., and it runs through Sunday. On Friday and Saturday night the show starts at 7:30 p.m., and the final show is at 3 p.m. on Sunday. For ticket information, call Waynesboro High School at (540) 946-4616.
