Bark to the 80s
7:00 - 11:00 p.m.
Spotswood Country Club
Dress up in your 80s attire with tight clothes and neon colors. Make sure to wear your dancing shoes even if your dancing is "ruff", it will be the puuurrrfect event to get meow-t of the house. The proceeds benefit the RHSPCA, "It's all for a good cause, it's to help the homeless animals in our local community. It just goes back to the animals at the shelter, it helps get them up for adoption and allows ten year old little seniors to go up for adoption as well" says Emily Eby, the Fund raising manager.

Saturday in Strasburg
Inaugural Vintage in the Valley
10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Downtown Strasburg
You'll find over 200 vendors of vintage goods. There will be a scavenger hunt, wine garden, local bands, a face painter, and bounce houses.

Bridge the gap for art

Noon Whistle Pottery in Stanardsville, and Solace Studios Fine Handcrafts in Elkton.
This saturday and sunday you can enjoy a beautiful drive over the blue ridge mountains while you "gallery hop" between "noon whistle pottery" in stanardsville and "solace studios fine handcrafts." both galleries will have light edibles from local farm to table resturants and wineries, as well as musicians from each gallery's county.

Eight annual Chocolate Walk
4:00 - 8:00 pm.
Turner Pavillion in downtown Harrisonburg
You can feast on chocolate at a bunch of participating businesses downtown that will each be offering a different type of chocolate, and of course you can burn off the calories as you walk to each stop. Registration is required, and the proceeds benefit the collins center's mission to eliminate sexual violence.
