A group of young boys are being good neighbors at a Christmas tree farm in West Augusta. At the farm, these boys learn skills on being productive members of society.

The Boys Home Christmas Tree Farm is where residents from the Boys Home tend to the farm. They plant the seeds, trim the trees and help customers. The farm features family activities like picking your own tree, refreshments and a photo booth. It is used to teach the kids from the Boys Home good work ethic and help them learn career and social skills when interacting with customers.

"I think it's really wonderful when we go outside and pick the trees and saw them and do all of the stuff you have to do. I feel good doing it for myself," says Aurelius Mennoh, who is a resident at the Boys Home.

The Boys Home Tree Farm is open every weekend leading up to Christmas.
