Swartzie's Potatoes


  • 2 lb. bag frozen potatoes, cubed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • 1 (16 oz.) container of sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 medium onion, grated (optional)
  • Grated cheddar cheese for topping
  • Parmesan cheese (sprinkle on top of cheddar cheese)

  • Directions

    1. Mix all ingredients, except cheddar and parmesan cheese, and pour into a casserole dish.

    2. Bake at 350° for 60 to 90 minutes, until the sides are bubbling.

    3. Top with cheeses and put back in the oven until cheese is melted.

    This is a great side dish with ham, and the dish can be prepared in about 10 minutes.
