Spicy Meat Empanadas


  • Puff pastry dough
  • Ground beef, chicken or turkey
  • Taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • Spicy cheese
  • Tomatoes, chopped
  • Onions, diced
  • Egg, beaten

  • Directions

    1. Cut sheets of pastry in small rounds.

    2. Brown ground beef, chicken or turkey.

    3. Add taco seasoning mix, salt and pepper.

    4. Drain, add chopped tomatoes and onions.

    5. Warm meat and tomato mixture in pan

    6. Place 1-2 Tbsp. of meat mixture, along with a small amount of cheese, in puff pastry round.

    7. Brush edges of pastry with beaten egg.

    8. Place in oven for 10-15 minutes at 375°.
