Bananas Foster


4 oz. Butter
8 oz. Dark Brown Sugar
1 T. Banana Liqueur
1 oz. Dark Rum
2-4 Ripe Bananas, split in half or sliced
1 oz. orange juice, to coat bananas


Melt butter in saute pan, add sugar and allow to melt together. Add bananas and allow caramelizing slightly adding liqueur and rum and igniting to burn off alcohol (2-3 minutes). Lay bananas in bowl or on top of ice cream, spoon rum syrup over top and serve.
