Grilled Hawaiian Chicken


  • 4 oz. chicken tenders or breasts
  • 1 Tbsp. of your favorite seasoning
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 10 oz. canned pineapple tidbits
  • 8 oz. pineapple juice (reserve juice from tidbits)
  • 2 maraschino cherries, cut in half
  • 4 Tbsp. corn starch
  • 1 cup water

  • Directions

    1. In preheated skillet, brush olive oil and Mrs. Dash blend on chicken, covering both sides.

    2. Sear approximately 1 1/2 minutes on each side.

    3. Add onions, peppers, garlic and pineapple tidbits. Saute approximately 4 minutes or until onions and peppers are tender.

    4. Add maraschino cherries and pineapple juice, bring to simmer and add corn starch and water until it forms a medium sauce.

    Chefs Tips

    Serve over white rice, with poached broccoli, carrots and cauliflower. Makes for a great tasting healthy meal for the whole family!
