Bread Pudding

6 cups of bread or combination of breads
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch if salt
Chopped dried fruits, nuts, etc.
1 stick of butter

Take the cube bread, donuts, cinnamon rolls, etc. and place in a buttered dish.

In another bowl, mix milk, vanilla, egg, sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt (you can add Irish whisky or rum)

Pour over bread. There should be enough liquid to just cover the bread.

Consider mixing in raisins or other dried fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, etc.

Pour melted butter over the top and sprinkle with more sugar and cinnamon.

For a savory bread pudding, eliminate sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.

Use things like bacon, sausage, cheese, peppers, onions and a tsp of your favorite spices. Plenty of salt and pepper.
