BROADWAY, Va. -- Broadway High School announced Danny Grogg as the Gobblers' new head football coach Tuesday afternoon.

Grogg has served as an assistant coach at Broadway for the last four years, working with the defensive line and as special teams coordinator.

“This is an exciting time for Broadway High School athletics, our football team and community," said Broadway athletic director Ryan Ritter.
"Anytime you can promote someone within your school it helps with the transition, and validates the work the coach has been doing."

"Coach Grogg is a young coach who has developed strong relationships with our players and the current coaches. I look forward to seeing the direction our football program takes under his leadership.”

Grogg played at the collegiate level for Bridgewater College. He was a First Team All-ODAC defensive tackle for the Eagles.
