College GameDay trucks arrive at JMU for set-up

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) — ESPN's College GameDay is getting closer and closer.

Set-up began on Wednesday, October 11 on James Madison University's quad.

Early in the morning, several eighteen-wheelers came rolling into town with equipment to start preparations for the stage that will serve as the homebase for ESPN's anchors during the show on Saturday.

This is the beginning of set-up, and parts of sidewalks on JMU's campus – usually a popular area for walkers and joggers, as well as crucial for students walking to class – are blocked off for set-up.
