Dukes Battle Past Delaware in Crucial Saturday Night Bout

HARRISONBURG, Va. (PRESS RELEASE) -- Senior guard Stuckey Mosley scored 15 of his game-high 25 points in the second half on Saturday night, leading James Madison to a crucial 68-61 win over Delaware in Colonial Athletic Association men's basketball at the JMU Convocation Center.

The Dukes (12-15, 5-9 CAA) hit 25 of their 49 shots (51.0 percent) on the evening in a clinical offensive performance, pulling away from the Blue Hens (16-12, 8-7 CAA) late with a 12-2 run in the latter half of the second period.

Mosley led all scorers in his fifth 25-point performance of the season, hitting four three-pointers and pulling down five boards across 36 minutes. Sophomore forward Dwight Wilson posted his second double-double in as many nights, racking up 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting to go with 12 rebounds and a team-high two assists.

The Dukes pressured Delaware throughout, forcing the Blue Hens into 14 turnovers, seven in each half, and scoring 17 points off the changes in possession. The win pushed JMU into sole possession of eighth in the tightly-compact league standings, just one game out of fifth place.

Darian Bryant led the Blue Hens on the day, racking up 15 points, seven boards and four assists on the evening, while Ryan Johnson added 13 points and Ryan Allen chipped in 11.
