JMU picks up commitment from third RB in 2019 class

HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Class of 2019 running back Latrele Palmer announced his commitment to the James Madison football team Tuesday.

Palmer is from Our Lady Of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland. He is the third player from Good Counsel to commit to JMU in the 2019 recruiting class. He joins linebacker Julio Ayamel and defensive end Jalen Green to form a trio of high school teammates who have pledged their commitment to the Dukes.

Palmer becomes the third running back in JMU's 2019 class. Running backs CJ Jackson and Austin Douglas signed with JMU during the early period in December.

Palmer is ranked as a two-star recruit according to Rivals.
