Dukes ready to host Northwestern in WNIT semifinals

The James Madison women's basketball team is preparing to face Northwestern in the WNIT semifinals Wednesday night at the Convocation Center.

JMU (29-5 overall) advanced to the semifinals of the WNIT with wins over North Carolina A&T, South Florida, Virginia Tech, and Georgetown. The Dukes are in the WNIT semifinals for the first time since the 2011-2012 season. JMU is led in scoring by junior guard Kamiah Smalls who averages 16.0 points per game.
Northwestern (20-14 overall) is one of the last four teams remaining in the WNIT after wins over Dayton, Toledo, West Virginia, and Ohio. Sophomore guard Lindsey Pulliam leads the Wildcats in scoring with 16.6 points per contest.
