EMHS falls to Life Christian Academy in VISAA state title game

PETERSBURG, Va. -- The Eastern Mennonite High School boys basketball team lost to Life Christian Academy, 63-59, in the VISAA Division III state championship game Saturday at Virginia State University.

No. 3 EMHS advanced to the state title game for the first time in school history with wins over No. 2 Walsingham Academy and No. 6 Portsmouth Christian before falling to No. 1 LCA in the championship contest.

The Flames finish the 2018-2019 season with a record of 21-8.
