Johnson earns rookie camp invite from Steelers

HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Former James Madison running back Cardon Johnson has earned a rookie camp invite from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Johnson rushed for 2,745 yards and scored 29 touchdowns during his time with the Dukes. He spent six years with the program while dealing with multiple major injuries.

The Newport News native led JMU with 657 rushing yards in 2018.
