Former JMU quarterback DeFilippo named Jaguars OC

JACKSONVILLE, Florida -- Former James Madison quarterback and NFL assistant coach John DeFilippo has been named the offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

DeFilippo most recently served as the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings but was fired during the 2018 season. He has coached in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, and New York Giants.

DeFilippo was a quarterback for JMU from 1996-1999.
