HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Former Stonewall Jackson High School and James Madison University standout left-handed pitcher Colton Harlow is preparing for his second season of professional baseball.

After a solid career pitching at JMU, Harlow was drafted by the Colorado Rockies organization in 2018. He was assigned to the Grand Junction Rockies of the Pioneer League (Rookie Advanced).

In 19 relief appearances, Harlow struck out 22 batters in 21.2 innings pitched while registering a 4.57 earned run average.

Harlow says he hopes to earn a spot on one of the Rockies Class A teams for the 2019 season.
