The No. 6 James Madison football team is preparing for a road game at Villanova Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats (3-3 overall, 0-3 CAA) are coming off a 13-10 loss at Maine. Villanova was ranked as high as No. 10 in the country after two wins to start the season, including a victory over FBS opponent Temple.
Villanova has fallen out to the top-25 in the media poll after losing three of its last four games.
The Wildcats were without starting quarterback Zack Benardczyk in the loss to Maine, due to injury. However, the Dukes are preparing to face the 6'1" lefty Saturday.
"We expect (Bednarczyk) to be back," said JMU head coach Mike Houston. "Looking at them with him versus them without him, it's no comparison. With him, they are a top-ten team in the country."
Benardczyk has thrown for 1,319 yards and 12 touchdowns through five games while completing 67.4% of his passes.
Kickoff between JMU and Villanova is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday in Villanova, PA.
