HARRISONBURG, Va. -- James Madison football gets ready for its first official practices under first-year Head Coach Curt Cignetti next month with the start of spring football, which is capped off by the annual Spring Game, presented by United Bank, on Saturday, April 13.
The Spring Game kicks off at 1 p.m. at Bridgeforth Stadium/Zane Showker Field and admission is free for all spectators, with open seating in the lower level. Gates open at noon and parking is open in all available lots, including the Champions Deck. Tailgating will be available in F Lot, beginning at 9 a.m.
Season tickets for the 2019 JMU football season, presented by CarMax, are on sale now and can be purchased online, by calling 540-568-3853 or by visiting the JMU Athletics Ticket Office inside the Convocation Center. Fans attending the Spring Game can also purchase season tickets at the guest services booth in the lower concourse.
JMU Athletics will also host a fan zone for children on the lower concourse.
The day before the Spring Game on Friday, April 12, JMU Athletics hosts the 34th annual Duke Club Golf Classic at Spotswood Country Club in Harrisonburg.
This year’s tournament features two start times, with an 8 a.m. morning flight and a 2 p.m. afternoon flight. The cost is $150 per player and includes greens fees, golf cart, unlimited beverages and hospitality both before and after the round. Registration closes on April 8 at 5 p.m.
