HARRISONBURG, Va. -- The James Madison men's basketball team is off to its first 3-0 start since the 1999-2000 season.

The Dukes improved to 3-0 after an 82-59 win over Bridgewater College Monday night at the Convocation Center. JMU has beaten a pair of Division III teams (Eastern Mennonite & Bridgewater) along with East Carolina out of the AAC.

"I feel like we have a lot to clean up and there's a lot of work that I have to do as a head coach," said JMU head coach Louis Rowe. "But the bottom line is, it's about those guys and if they are winning."

"That's what they came here to do and I want them to have as much success and feel as much success as possible. That's what it's all about."

JMU is back in action Friday night when the Dukes visit Charlotte for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.
