The 2018 NCAA Tournament field was revealed Sunday night. Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Radford all earned bids.
Virginia is the #1 overall seed and 1-seed in the South Region. The Cavaliers will play 16-seed UMBC Friday at 9:20 p.m. in Charlotte, NC.
West Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Radford were all placed in the East Region. 5-seed WVU will play 12-seed Murray State in the first round Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. in San Diego, CA.
Virginia Tech earned the #8 seed in the region and will play 9-seed Alabama Thursday night at 9:20 p.m. in Pittsburgh, PA.
Radford was selected to play as part of the "First Four". The Highlanders will meet LIU-Brooklyn in the tournament's opening game Tuesday at 6:40 p.m. in Dayton, OH. The winner earns the 16-seed in the East Region and a first round matchup with 1-seed Villanova.
