SHENANDOAH COUNTY - Shenandoah County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Danville woman on Saturday, accusing her of having sex with a dog.

Jordan Elise Henderson is charged with felony bestiality, misdemeanor cruelty to animals and misdemeanor possession of obscene materials.

The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office says they were contacted by authorities in Fairfax County in early 2015 regarding a video that had been brought to their attention. Fairfax County said the video was connected to Shenandoah County.

In Februrary of 2015, Shenandoah County Deputies executed a search warrant at a home in the 6000 block of Main Street in Mt. Jackson. It was thought that Henderson was living there at the time.

Deputies took electronics during the investigation and filed the charges against Henderson based on what they found.

Henderson has been released on $10,000 unsecured bond. Shenandoah County Deputies believe the dog involved is in a shelter in Northern Virginia right now.

Henderson is due in court on Aug. 14.
