United States Green Energy plans to relocate its manufacturing operations to Pittsylvania County and employ more than 370 people within three years.
The Fredericksburg-based company said Friday that it will renovate a shell building at the Cane Creek Centre in Ringgold. The company plans to invest $30 million in the project.
Hiring is expected to begin in early 2011. Entry-level jobs will pay $31,500 a year.
United States Green Energy manufactures roofing and siding materials that generate electricity from sunlight.
The Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission approved $1.6 million for the project.
