Vigil Planned for 18 People Missing in Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -- A national nonprofit organization is sponsoring a vigil for 18 people reported missing in Central Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley.

The oldest case is Kelly Dove, who disappeared from Harrisonburg in 1982. The most recent case is Bonnie Santiago, who was reported missing in July 2014 from Carters Mountain in Albemarle County.

The Daily Progress (http://bit.ly/1K0IIqp ) reports that Help Save the Next Girl has scheduled the vigil for 1 p.m. Saturday at Northridge Community Church in Albemarle County.

Speakers include Kim Nelson, whose daughter, Bethany Decker, was reporting missing from Ashburn in 2011.
