An area man has been missing in West Virginia since the last Friday in February. West Virginia State Police continue their search.

Ellis Stevenson was reported missing February 27 after his car was found in a rural part of Pendleton County. The car was still running when it was found by the sheriff.

The West Virginia State Police has a team in the area where the car was found. They're looking for Stevenson.

A family member says Stevenson left his home in Baltimore on Thursday, February 26. He drove from Baltimore to Pendleton County. Stevenson has a credit card that was last used at a 7-Eleven on Interstate 66 outside of Washington, D.C.

Stevenson is captured on surveillance video visiting that 7-Eleven.

He was last seen wearing a brown and gray ski jacket and jeans. He is not dressed for the weather in the mountains of West Virginia. He suffers from mental illness and is on medication.
