Parkesburg, Pa. police say the man suspected of capital murder in Augusta County robbed a Family Dollar store in the town on Sunday.

Police say Richard Clay Smith is accused of entering the store at about 1 p.m., pulling a gun on the clerk and demanding money.
He then fled the store.

Police say Smith confessed to the robbery when interviewed by Augusta County investigators.

Smith was arrested on Tuesday in Page County after allegedly stealing another vehicle in Fauquier County.

He’s currently being held without bond at the Page County Jail.

Andrea Mullan, his alleged accomplice, and Smith's sister, Laura Lee Williams, have also been taken into custody in the past week since this all began.

On Sept. 1, Mullan was arrested in Washington Township, NJ, near Philadelphia. She is awaiting extradition. She was arrested on fraud charges in Page County.

Smith's sister, Williams, was also arrested on Sept. 1. She is charged with first degree murder, and being held at the Rockingham County Jail.

Deputies say Smith shot and killed an 80-year-old man last week.
